2020 was a year filled with many challenges, but despite those unexpected challenges, Zasio reached many milestones and we’re proud of our accomplishments. As we reflect on the year, we wanted to share some of our most notable moments and above all, say thank you to our wonderful staff and customers who have made this year one to remember!
Highlights
Expanded our knowledge base. This year, Zasio gained one International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), one Certified Records Analyst (CRA), and one of our Licensed Attorneys was selected to join the class of 2020-2021 Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers.
Introduced Versatile Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) Web. ERMS Web allows you to access the electronic records stored in Versatile ERMS from any web browser—no client install needed! Users now have a choice when it comes to deployment: web browser or desktop application.
Shared our knowledge. Our staff wrote 13 blogs throughout the year to keep you on top of the ever-changing IG landscape. Additionally, we added new ways for customers to engage with our team through Virtual Coffee sessions with Zasio’s Consulting team, and Z-Tech training webinars for customers.
Partnered with ARMA to connect with Information Governance Professionals around the world. Zasio’s experts presented two sessions during this year’s “Virtual” InfoCon—A Guided Demonstration of Versatile Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) and Mitigating Privacy Risks Within Your Records Retention Schedule. We also shared our records retention expertise during a co-sponsored webinar presenting a case study on global retention scheduling. According to ARMA, we even broke the record in number of attendees!
Added the option to use Android devices with Versatile Records On-The-Go. Zasio’s popular barcode scanning add-on application is now available for Android devices, in addition to iOS devices. The Android version can communicate over a wireless connection to your company’s Versatile technology solution, or offline without the need for wireless connectivity.
Upgraded Versatile Retention to version 11.1. We added new features and bug fixes to ensure your software is up–to–date and remains the most robust retention schedule management and research solution available.
Released version 8.7 of Versatile Enterprise. We announced the latest release of Versatile Enterprise, ensuring this flagship software continues to address the ever-increasing needs of the records and information management industry.
Released version 8.7 of Versatile Web for both Enterprise and Professional. Our software add-on further enhances your application by allowing unlimited numbers of users access to specific core features of the Versatile application using just a web browser.
Researched Retention Regulations. A lot of them! We updated retention regulations in 81 countries. We also updated research in 70 sub-jurisdictions like states, provinces, and territories. We added an average of 3,000 citations in the U.S. Additionally, we added an average of 6,000 citations internationally. Finally, we updated an average of 7,000 citations in the U.S. and updated an average of 9,000 citations internationally.
