You know making the most of your Versatile software will make life easier, but it’s tough to find time to read documentation or schedule training. That’s why we’re rolling out a new learning opportunity exclusively for Zasio users, called Versatile Tech Talks!
They will be free, short, and timely.
Each virtual session, hosted by Warren Bean, Vice President of Technology and Product Development, will highlight a specific feature of the Versatile 2023 software.
The sessions will run approximately every two weeks on Wednesdays for no more than 30 minutes—15 to 20 minutes to highlight a feature of the software, and the remainder for Q&A. No matter which feature set you use—retention schedule management, physical records management, or electronic records management, we aim to provide something relevant for everyone during each talk.
If you can’t make it on a particular day, no worries. It will become part of our growing library of content in the user portal.
‘Searching’ in Versatile 2023
This session will cover various ways you can search throughout the system, whether for legal citations, schedules, boxes, files, and more. We will cover global, quick, and advanced search options with plenty of examples.

In this session, we’ll cover ways you can setup retention rules and how it impacts different areas of the Versatile 2023 system, such as schedules vs. series vs. policies, and how retention calculates at the record level.

Maybe you know custom fields are available, but you can’t recall how to add them. We’ll walk you through creating user-defined fields and discuss the implications of the various types, such as the difference between a custom list and multi-select list.
