Software Support Specialist

Description:

Software support includes both on-premises and SaaS configurations. The ideal candidate has a strong IT background, a passion for learning new technologies quickly, and a commitment to go the extra mile for both customers and teammates. Creative thinking, problem-solving, and a customer-first mindset are key to success in this role. This is an onsite position in our Boise headquarters.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance for software customers, including installation help, best practice guidance, and on-going troubleshooting
  • Deliver support via phone, email, and remote meetings in a professional and customer-focused manner
  • Maintain accurate records of support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Develop custom database scripts and reports to meet specific customer needs
  • Document and escalate software defects and feature requests following established workflows
  • Participate in quality assurance and testing efforts for new product releases
  • Collaborate closely with developers to communicate bugs, expedite fixes and provide feedback on new features
  • Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge base articles to improve team efficiency and customer self-service
  • Assist internal team members with technical issues and contribute to knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate on customer projects by offering technical expertise, assisting with data migrations, and helping ensure smooth software installations and configurations.
  • Manage personal workload effectively while remaining responsive to team priorities and shared deadlines
