Reflecting on 2018, Zasio is proud of our dedication to the things we value most: our employees, our customers, our community, and our software and consulting services. As we enter 2019, we wanted to revisit and share some of the highlights from this past year, and also to thank our staff and customers for making this such a great year!

Voted one of the Top Ten Best Small Businesses to Work for in Idaho in 2018. The winners, as chosen by their own employees, have demonstrated exceptional performance in the areas of Compensation and Benefits, Employee Growth and Development, Work-Life Balance, Workplace Environment, and Company Management.

Exemplified a Zasio Core Value: Specialization – We are experts in our field, committed to improving ourselves and the company by expanding our knowledge base. In 2018, we gained 2 Certified Records Managers (CRM), 2 Information Governance Professionals (IGP), 2 Microsoft Certified Solutions Associates (MCSA), and 1 Microsoft Certified Solutions Professionals (MCSP).

Shared our knowledge. Z-Talks, Zasio’s complimentary education sessions at ARMA Live! 2018, was a great success. Zasio experts presented information on hot topics in IG and records management. One attendee said, “It was great idea to have free educational content outside the conference. It was an added bonus to my attendance proposal.”

Contributed to industry professional associations. Employees held the volunteer positions of Content Editorial Board, Board Member for ARMA; Information Governance Network, Membership Chair for ACC; Vice President of Boise Valley ARMA; Treasurer of Boise Valley ARMA; and Community Affairs Chair, Board Member of Boise Valley ARMA.

Cared for our community. We bagged food at the Idaho Food Bank, helped the Ada County Sheriff Employees Association shop for clothing for children in need, purchased facility supplies for the Women’s and Children’s Alliance, donated our Thanksgiving turkeys, and helped local residents facing medical challenges with financial assistance.

Introduced a Software-as-a-Service option for our popular Versatile RetentionTM software. Now offering both a domestic (U.S.) and international SaaS version, Versatile Retention is the most robust cloud-based retention schedule management solution available.

Improved the ability to communicate information between Versatile product and the tools you already use. Through Versatile FuseTM, we enhanced the Iron Mountain and Alfresco integrations, while adding ARCIS and SharePoint Information Policies to the ever-growing list.

Unified our mobile device platform. We released updated version of both our iOS and Windows Mobile apps. It’s easier than ever to take your Versatile with you wherever you go.

Released version 5.1 of Versatile Professional and Versatile Express. We listened and enhanced the software with even more intuitive features to effectively manage physical records, images, and records centers.

Updated research in 90 countries. We also updated research in 72 sub-jurisdictions like states, territories, and provinces.

Kept up the pace with an ever-changing IG landscape. Our consulting division engaged in a variety of IG projects, including localization research, e-signature research, GDPR and other privacy-related guidance for records programs, program structuring, program initiation packages, and dissolution assistance.

Published an average of 90 new or updated citations approximately every 3 weeks. These citations were made available to our Versatile Retention customers who had active support.
