Versatile 2026 Web Client

Records management in your browser

Versatile in a browser — electronic content, retention schedules, legal research, physical records, disposition, holds, dashboards, administration. The work that used to need the Windows desktop client, with nothing to install.

Electronic content

Documents live in the browser too: a content explorer with file preview, revision history, and documents shared with you — governed by the retention schedule you already maintain in Versatile.

Retention & research

Browse and manage schedules, run citation research, route change requests through approval, and view schedule history — in the browser.

Physical records operations

Boxes and files, disposition batches, legal holds, the checkout wizard, barcode and label queues, and warehouse space management — end to end on the web.

Dashboards & audit

Customizable dashboards and the full audit trail, so oversight lives where the work happens.

VIA, built in

The Versatile Information Assistant answers research, schedule, and product questions in context. Your questions go to VIA — your records never do.

Enterprise sign-in

SAML 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on on cloud-connected deployments, Active Directory authentication, and two-factor authentication.

SaaS or on-premises

The same platform either way — choose Zasio-hosted SaaS or run it on your own infrastructure.

Easy to roll out, easy to govern

The web client is a released, versioned product — version 26.1 went GA in June 2026. A browser client means company-wide reach without desktop deployment, and it's the same contracted, audited platform underneath, with role-based security groups and profiles administered across companies and departments. SOC 2 Type 2 attested.

Also in the browser: search with saved searches, shareable collections of records, bulk global change with its own history, built-in reports, the citation update service, in-app notifications and messages, and full administration — users, security, profiles, companies, departments, and custom fields.

Open a browser. That's the install.
